“Halet-i
Ruhiye” Nejat Satı için bir değişkenlik ve temkinlilik durumunu temsil ediyor.
Ruh halleri ile ilişkili olan çalışmalar, sergi esnasında bazı müdahalelerle
mekan içerisinde de farklı iki ruh durumuna tekabül ediyor.
Yapıtlar tinsellik
üzerine yoğunlaşıyor olsa da, yer yer şiddete dair izler de taşıyor;
sanatçının
kendi hissiyatına nazaran toplumsal durumlara da göndermelerde bulunan bir
şiddete.
Sergideki çalışmalar Satı’nın 2010 yılında Pi Artworks’te yaptığı “Dil
Altı” adlı
kişisel sergisinden sonra geçen iki yıllık süreç içerisinde ortaya
çıkan durumların
ve zamanların bir araya gelişi.

Nejat Satı
is at Pi Artworks Galatasaray with his solo exhibition
titled “State of Mind”
between the dates October 2nd – November 25th, 2012.
“State of
Mind” represents the state of variabilty and caution.
The series, which are
associated with the mood, are equivalent
to two different states of
soul with some interventions during the exhibition.
Even though they focus on spirituality, there are traces of violence too;
violence with references to the social context rather than the artist’s own
sentiment.
The works in the exhibition are a gathering of the situations and
times arised since two years,
after Satı’s last solo exhibition at Pi Artworks,
titled “Hypoglottis”.
